Covid 19

Spirits Quebec is committed to respecting all health standards currently imposed by the Quebec government.

Welcome and number of people on the site

We will take the temperature of all visitors to the event upon their arrival. The contact information of each participant in the event will be recorded electronically.

Unfortunately, due to the current situation, we will not have a locker room at the event in order to limit contact.

Once your ticket has been approved, you will go up to the upper floor where you will be able to pick up your tasting glass which will be placed on the entrance table of each room, the envelope containing your first five tasting coupons as well as your color bracelet (which identifies the time slot you belong to). Our staff will direct you between tasting room 1 or tasting room 2.

We have two rooms available for the event. According to current government standards, each room can accommodate a maximum of 250 people. Visitors will have 46.58 sq. ft. per person in one room and 33.80 sq. ft. per person in the other, which ensures that we respect the physical distance between all visitors.

Visitors will be able to move around between the two halls of the event. The number of people will be counted using counters. In the event that one of the rooms has reached the maximum number of people (250), visitors will have to line up while waiting for places to become available.
In order to allow an efficient rotation of the number of people on the event site, we have created 2h30 time slots for visitors. At the end of each time slot all stations will be disinfected.

How to get around the site?

The 30 microdistilleries will be installed in the form of a route at the pre-function 200 and in room 210 of the Palais des Congrès de Montréal. Visitors must therefore follow the path clearly identified by arrows on the ground in order to move between the different tasting booths and avoid crossing each other.
In front of each booth, mini waiting lines will be set up where participants can wait to taste their spirits. Tablets will be installed on the ground to indicate to participants the distance of 2 meters to respect in front of each kiosk.

The physical distance of two meters must be maintained at all times and in all places.

Don’t forget your mask!

Everyone present at the event must wear a mask at all times, except of course during the tasting.

We will have additional masks for sale directly on the site.
